Most Norwegian colleges and universities have started using Leganto to handle curriculum literature.
Leganto has a lot of functionality to make the work with syllabi easier. At the same time, it is important to be able to work with syllabus lists in parallel with working with course revision. For the users of Edutorium, this has long been a matter of course. Edutorium has long had an integration with Leganto. We also have an integration with Talis (which is the second major syllabus system in use in Norway).
Now we will help make it easier also for universities and colleges that do not use Edutorium. UNIT has asked us to help integrate Leganto and FS.
The project will make it possible for all FS schools to get either a link or an HTML view of a syllabus directly in FS. We will also look at the possibility of being able to write the syllabus in a standardized format for export to the archive system (eg Public 360).
We thank UNIT for the trust and will use all our technical competance and domain knowledge to create a good and user-friendly solution for the sector. We have established a good collaboration with Nord-University, UIS, VID and NLA who are pilot users. We look forward to continuing to work with them.
